Jackson threw 30 TD to 9 INT his true sophomore season. He didn't have a great completion % but he was overall more advanced than Richardson. Richardson's numbers as a true junior are more in line with Jackson's true freshman season. Now Jackson played for Bobby Petrino, one of this generation's best passing coaches, so maybe that helped.

LJ was a better passer in college and still not prolific in the pros. He has a very limited click left relying on his legs. He’s getting better but I don’t think he has a much longer career if he doesn’t develop his game from the pocket more. Mahomes can make a living with no legs, can LJ?

Lamar’s first dozen games looked a lot like AR’s dozen games. This is what I’m getting at. If AR had Bobby Petrino coaching him, who knows what he could have done.

It’s possible but AR was in his third year when he played those first dozen games. I wTch his highlights and he looks superhuman and then watch some of his plays and it’s hard to believe it’s the same person. He’s a gifted runner with a great arm but not a gifted qb yet.

I believe AR will have the greatest combine in NFL history for a QB.
Assuming they are measuring speed, physical strength and athletic ability and not, you know, reading defenses.

Whether he goes #1 or not- I would bet against it but anything is possible.
IMO no doubt he goes top 10.

I know we are all football fans and don't really like the off-season, but the madness of the pre-draft (and even the pre-combine) is SO damn silly. Nothing but mental nonsense to feed the masses something.

Kinda like 2024 recruiting commits that can't sign an LOI for another year and are still taking every visit offered.

It’s the problem with fandom. This time of year, it’s uniforms and jet packs…except this year, we may have the number one draft pick! Lol

FYI, Mel Kiper has AR going with the ninth pick to Seattle.
Quarterbacks going ahead of him: Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Will Levis.

I love Gators and always root for their success at the next level or career. Buttttt - I'm still waiting on the guy everyone said would be a constant highlight reel in a Gator uniform in 2022. That guy never really showed up.

Now the same people are touting the same person to be the #1 pick in the draft. Must be some good weed out there these days.

More often than not, he's in the ballpark. He's got that job for a reason.
Let's see if AR really is going in the first round. All indicators say yes.

Washington will sign a QB... book it. Maybe not from the draft but they will get a new QB this coming year.

O'Cyrus is not going that late in the draft.

Richardson will convince someone to draft him in round one.

I can see why the Colts are interested in AR since they named the Eagles OC as HC. I just don't understand why the need to trade up. I don't see him going number 1 and expect him to be available at #4 which is the Colts pick.
