So Fox’s defense is “yeah we aired a lot of false stuff about you and we obviously knew it was false, but you can’t prove those falsehoods hurt your business as much as you claim they did.”

The Dominion trial starting on the 17th, with the E. Jean Carrol trial just days later. A plus would be if TFG gets a subpoena in the ongoing Proud Boys trial and has to testify.

 

Seems that if the clown in the photo below can sue CNN, the Washington Post and other media outlets for defamation alleging $250 million in damages Dominion can certainly allege that it suffered $1.6 billion.

Another interesting tidbit: Dominion is alleging that Rupert Murdoch himself shared confidential advertising information, including copies of the ads intended by the Biden campaign to run on Fox programming, to Jared Kushner. The leader of a news organization is providing strategically valuable information to a specific campaign at the potential expense of his publicly traded company. They really should settle, because that fact is also not good for them or him in particular (they could now be subject to suits from shareholders who could claim that his actions lower the potential for paid advertising on Fox properties, which they own).

Part of the settlement should be they have to acknowledge it on Fox News. That way the rubes actually have to see it.

It’s actually bizarre how… seemingly honest… this guy was in his deposition. In effect, pretty much admitting everything the lawsuit alleges. I guess with all the behind the scenes talk about “ratings” being their concern, there was nothing more to say.

Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be change in direction at Fox. So they’re probably just considering it a cost of doing business at this point. Because of that I agree an on air apology must be mandatory. Hell make them Re-air that apology for a week before every prime time show.

 

As I said before, every day for a year at the beginning of each show. That's the only way it will sink in on their typical viewers.

 

Nice notion, but I suspect they would just play the victim card and say the "deep state" is forcing them to say all that.
