Russia military deaths in Ukraine have exceeded that of all other wars combined. 25 times that of Afghanistan.

 

China like to think that they play the long game. They through patience got Hong Kong back; I think they will not think a nuclear exchange is anyone’s interest. But then again, I thought Russia wouldn’t do something as mindlessly stupid as invading the Ukraine.

Not bad, it must be said. A little dolorous. But I’m sure I’d feel the same if I were involved in a conventional war that was supposed to last two months at worst, have a fraction of the casualties, demonstrated to the world that the shield of my country was permeated with rust, and — worst of all — with no real end in sight.
