Here's the article from SI: https://www.si.com/college/florida/...rs-corey-raymond-named-secondary-coach-report I think it's a good, smart move.
This should solidify that Armstrong's sole purpose is to be the DC with a little help from Spencer as co DC.
Love this move. Raymond was a great hire. He would be an asset to any team, but I'm sure glad he's working for us.
Raymond is a great hire so hopefully he can understand that having your DBs play for the hail Mary 50 yards downfield on 3rd and 7 is a bad move. Our last two coaches didn't grasp that concept.
That’s pretty hopeful considering the NFL thinks Toney is a good coach, maybe it was more the players I would guess. We have some highly rated safeties coming but it’ll probably take some time for them to make a difference. Raymond can surely coach them up so if the aren’t good, it’s on the players. Raymond is a proven coach.
They also think Willy Taggart and Grantham are NFL worthy, so... LMFAO! I can't think of one NFL coach I would want to coach the Gators.
Coaches and head coaches are not even on the same planet. The nfl aren’t all idiots, just the guy who takes AR with the first pick.
I’m glad I don’t have to make that decision. If he turns out to be tge next Mahomes, it’s a told ya so. If he can’t hit a five yard slant, you’re the idiot that watched tgat on film a drafted him anyway and your career is over. I’d do much rather draft Will Anderson to a team tgat already has a qb.
One of those NFL prognosticators has AR going to Tampa in the first round. I hope that's wrong becasue I think Trask has earned the right to start next year.
I would bet on Trask before I bet on Richardson. With that in mind, I think there’s four or five sure fire guys that can handle helping your football team for certain. I am sure wouldn’t be trading away draft picks in order to have two quarterbacks with potential on my team.
