    Some interesting numbers:

Men's Basketball vs Vanderbilt on 2/25/2023 - Box Score - Florida Gators

3-point % dropped from 40% to 11% in the second half.

    Rebounds 31-42.

    Turnovers: Only 4 -- Assists: 11.

    Free-Throws: 11-19

    No answer for Robbins: 7-11 1-1 3-6 = 18 points -- 9 rebounds -- 5 blocks.

This team really misses CC . . . especially if 3s aren't falling.

I really enjoyed CCs game this season, was a privilege. Fun to see big man Ball. He really refined his game, especially passing skills. Bummer he got hurt. Kugel looks to have the potential to be a force next year. Kids explosive.

I know it's a down time but hoop fortunes can turn on a dime. Perhaps that happens next season.

I felt going in that we needed to shoot pretty well (we did), hold our own in rebounding (we didn't), and make our free throws (we didn't). I figured Robbins would feast on us, but that we could stay close if we checked all 3 of the above boxes.
    Sigh...
We now sit at 14-15. We need to win at Georgia, home against LSU, and win one in the SECT to ensure we don't end with a losing record.

If we win at Georgia and lsu it doesn’t matter what happens in the SECT to not have a losing record.

I hope being on the road at Georgia isn’t the kiss of death. Maybe we can play great defense and quit throwing up extremely difficult threes. This has been disaster for us, add in defense from a couple of players that aren’t even close when opposing guards shoot theirs. Man, this isn’t wasn’t what I envisioned for this group, Colin getting hurt was very probable with the minutes he played and his frail makeup. Now we are having to play with guys that are trying hard but haven’t had any playing time, probably should have, but that is water over the dam. We are practicing for next year which is ok because Colin and others will be gone.
