I know it is a walk off homer, but it is much more satisfying for one to break a tie or go ahead.

Gotta stay focused. If this team is going to be special they need to close down games like tomorrow and not miss a beat… That being said I think we will need to see one or two guys out of the bullpen that will need to show us they can be solid. Here’s the other thing, we all know that Cincinnati lost 2 to 3 really good transfers but they have an excellent coach much like USF and they will not back down at all.

Today was the best that I have seen Waldrep pitch since he got here. And last Sunday was the best that Cags pitched since taking the mound at practices. Hopefully this Friday will be the best that Sproat has pitched this Spring. Its great to see our Sat/Sun starters getting dialed in but remember we haven't seen the best from Sproat as of yet.
Great to see Kurland still showing how its done. I tell ya the kid knows how to put the bat on the ball. Still he only has 1 strikeout in 19 at bats which leads all starters. It kind of makes sense, if you ain't getting out much then strikeouts would be down. What's better is his first chance at leading off, he gets 2 hits again, including his second homer. Besides leading in several key categories, Kurland is tied for the lead in hits with 11 but with 11 less at bats than the other leaders, 3rd in doubles, and 2nd in total bases.
I hate to say it and ask @gator1977 if you must, I called out Langford again during the game. Then the next three at bats he goes homer/walk/single and gets another 3 hit game. I apologize Mr. Langford. I don't know what comes over me sometimes.
