Johnny, next time I tell you something don’t question me, just take it and run to the bank as fast as you can! Just kidding you man. Hopefully we regroup next game and Walton gets out of their way and let’s the ladies play agressive softball.

 

Pretty big assumption if that's Walton's thinking, we don't look like we belong on the same field with them tonight.

Watched FSU play UCLA in Clearwater. FSU led most of game before losing, I believe 7-5. At the time it looked like two pretty even teams. I would have liked to see us throw Hightower at these gals.

 

Nasty hit on the hand. Hope she's OK.

 

Probably better that we step away from our computers and shit can this film before making any additional comments. Hopefully we can pitch Hightower a couple times in remaining games.

 

Hightower would be good 1 time through the batting order, IMO. Delbrey at her best and healthy is the only Gator pitcher who has a chance against them. But it won't matter if we can't hit.

 

Not shocked at losing (UCLA is good), but at the fact they couldn’t produce not one hit tonight. And overall just looked completely lost the entire time.

 

Yep. Ugly. On to UCR.

 

Most teams have ugly loses. Gators lost last year to Arky 9 -1 at home in 6 innings and ended up in CWS.

 

In the ladies defense it was hardly an ideal situation. They were supposed to fly out Wednesday but the plane had issues so they had to fly out of Tampa at 7am Thursday. I’m sure they were understandably exhausted and out of sorts with the time zone change.

 

I still have utmost confidence in this squad. Win or lose I’m sure they would have competed much better had the situation been different.

 

I agree. Flight issues. Weather issue. Skylar not being there. Late start time and going straight into the ucla match-up instead of having csf first.
