since halftime at SC we have been playing much better.

 

After building the 18-point lead, we started missing layups and leaving Bama's shooters unguarded. But we were able to close it out at the end with some clutch work.
I've got to say, I believe Myka Perry will be a star next season. She's gotten into the rotation now and is starting to break out of that freshman stuff. Her defense is getting really tough.

 

I guess I don't understand the rule well. The Bammer was standing on the half-circle when Myka ran into her. I thought the defender had to be outside the half-circle, but the announcers seemed to think it was the correct call.

Such a pleasant surprise. I really thought they were going to finish the season without winning another game, but they proved me wrong. Great win.

 

Against a likely NCAAT team, as well, not a bottom-feeder.

 

Saw this on the SEC.com game recap. It would be cool if they could at least sneak into the nit but if not a solid win last night.

I agree. What I gathered, in their attempt to justify the refs decision, the announcers said the defender's heels were up and she was on her toes so she was technically "outside" the circle.

Does not guarantee a winning season. If we lose the next two games we will be 4-12 in the conference and 15-15. At least not a losing season but in the bottom 4 of the Sec. again

 

oh if you don't count the Sec tournament game you are right. 15-14. But 10 of those victories came against very poor teams.

 

A win is a win, they don'thave a separate column labeled, " wins against poor teams" .sure wish our football tem had beat vandy this past year....I am sure we would have liked that win against a poor team..

 

Maybe this is the poster Solari was watching before strongly suggesting the "Constant Negativity" Rule, MCB51.

 

Yeah, I heard that explanation as well, but I'm not buying it. Since at a couple of points she was clearly standing on the line, it should have been a no-call at best.
