I was just following online.....why was Robertson unable to score on a double to right with 2 outs? Had to be going on contact and has great speed.
I watched a scrimmage like this game-- very sloppy all around- lack of focus-- the early USF runs were gifted and various plays that should have been made but weren't. That first tailor made DP in the 2nd inning that was thrown away set the tone. Late relief pitching was very disappoining but not helped by the error in RF. Agree Lastres seemed to be crossed up much of the night- he repeatedly pointed to his left ear as if he could not hear the pitch calls from the dugout. Not sure what was going on there but it hurt in the last run.
Just 1 game...I think we got a bit complacent..and the game slipped away from us..hopefully we learn from this...
You mean the guy that was a freshman all american, and had the second best ERA on the team behind Barco? Over 50 innings and a 2.8 ERA. If all our freshmen could struggle like that
