I'd like to see Robertson try to put down a better bunt here and use that speed to his advantage. If BT can do it anyone can!!!
Question... With a new pitcher coming in does it make base stealing more difficult for a good runner having to wait and get a read on the pitcher?
Man on 1B / 0 outs New Earl is #37 Jr RHP Skeen Kc - Langford reaches on FC to short. They get Robertson at 2B.
With Riopelle, aren't they set up the shift, opening up the 3rd base side of the infield and making it an automatic hit if he gets a bunt down?
Yes its certainly a different defense so its not apples to apples. Riopelle's just taking advantage of what he's given. Robertson is able to put pressure on any defense and we aren't using it to our advantage.
