I remember when he got drafted he bought a special made car for $200,00 plus and I made comments on how stupid it was. I took a beating from Gator fans saying he would make a lot of money in the NFL.

 

Sounds like he got his four years so he should have some pension.

Not bad for a four year try plan

 

Formula: if a player has 8 credited seasons and their final average salary is $1 million, the player's monthly pension benefit at retirement would be $13,280 ($1,000,000 x 1.66% x 8 = $13,280).

Average pension of $43,000 mentioned above includes all the 3 and 4 year players, the low wage earners, and players from other decades. Players that make millions per year have much higher pensions. Also, you can begin drawing your pension at 55
