Hey guys… not sure if this type of thread has been started, but as a long time poster on this board who’s not a Gator…. There were those I use to enjoy seeing posts from that I don’t see often post here anymore. Ga8orMaj was one of those.. is he still here? I remember how much he loved Jon Hoke when he was DC at UF.… I also remember when Spurrier brought him to SC and I knew then it was time for Steve to hang it up.
Maybe I’m wrong but I seem to recall Jon Hoke was horrendous when he was DC for us back then. That’s what I recall and I’m too lazy to research it. Most DC’s under Spurrier in his heyday didn’t have to hold opposing offenses to low scores.
I remember Maj as being a closet troll personally. He used to downplay Spurriers success often under the guise of "objectivity."
I miss the rational objective takes of Gatorsean and OBOB. Not sure what happened to them. Also, Alagator was a troll I don't miss
Unfortunately, he was "de-invited" from the board. I found it strange, because his posts always seemed innocuous. There was also a poster named Savagegator, who started way too many threads.
Jaggator.... and his dearly missed babes and thongs thread. Also liked GATORAZ for his recruiting info And Wormwood for his analytical data and take on the game.
People miss Themistocles and Wormwood?!? Pseudo intellectual nonsense derived from extremely biased stats delivered with constant condescending insults to those with rational counter arguments. Their absence makes these boards much more enjoyable.
I think Stoops was the best DC at UF when Spurrier was there…. Most Florida fans during that time really disliked Hoke.
Wormwood is still around. I enjoy his posts. He's definitely toned it down a bit, but I always enjoyed his perspective. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS

Just remember that sos only got one. There were alot of powerhouse programs in the 90’s but that 96 defense was pretty sporty.
