Shots like shingles, pneumococcal pneumonia are useful for high risk people. Elderly, immune compromised etc as you noted.

Just when I think that Americans cannot collectively get any more ignorant, they find news ways to prove me wrong. Unfortunately you are too far gone to realize we don’t just fire off shots into all groups of people. We assess the risk benefits of groups and make decisions accordingly.

Just hope your kids and grandkids are not still be subjected to these shots.

 

We don’t outlaw smoking or alcohol and other such calming strategies that kill multitudes. So why should we ban vaccines ?

I compare it to other medications that have been approved by the fda using the same system and process.

Since I see patients of all walks of life I have to consider their thoughts and feelings when discussing any numbers of treatment.

You are comparing apples and oranges. I understand you must take into account patients feelings and concerns and they have to make their own choices but if you are comparing drugs that are given daily for years to vaccines that are given a couple of times that is an incorrect and non evidence based basis for comparison. Vaccines do have side effects, but those side effects are known pretty quickly, and the side effects and frequency of Covid vaccines are well known at this point.

 

Israel was first out of the gate with vaccines and robust efforts to vaccinate the ‘at risk’ populations. Staggering increase in deaths in 2021. 2022 deaths are higher than 2020 deaths ...
