I desperately hope you are wrong but unfortunately I know you’re right.
Mike ( butter won’t melt in my mouth) Pence trying to make the case in very somber tones on TV that it’s only because of constitutional grounds that he won’t respect the subpoena makes me retch.

Proud Boys attorneys want to subpoena Trump in seditious conspiracy trial.

Proud Boys move to subpoena Trump in seditious conspiracy trial (msn.com)

Leaders in the far-right Proud Boys group, accused in federal court of plotting to use violence to keep Donald Trump in power, are asking the Justice Department to help them force the former president to testify.

“At all times relevant, Trump was president of the United States, and it’s the government’s obligation to produce him,” attorney Norm Pattis said in court Thursday. His client, Joseph Biggs, is one of five defendants accused of engaging in a seditious conspiracy to attack the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Pattis did not explain what defendants hope to learn from Trump, only that he was joined in the subpoena effort by attorneys for co-defendant Dominic Pezzola. He said he needed help from the government to serve a subpoena on Trump because the U.S. Secret Service continues to protect the former president.

In opening statements last month, an attorney for longtime Proud Boys Chairman Henry “Enrique” Tarrio argued that the former president was the one responsible for the deadly riot.

One police officer died directly due to J6. One lost an eye. 140 of them suffered serious injuries.

Everyone convicted for J6 so far was hardcore MAGA. Proven in their statements, social media and family interviews.

ANTIFA and FBI "informants" have been identified here. Your gang of thugs at work.

And there were clowns of all flavors breaking into offices and all of them should be arrested and charges with a crime.

But NONE of this has anything to do with Trump like you Leftists are espousing.

Nope, prove that Trump told anyone to even walk into the Capital building. And tell us where Trump made anyone get involved with this.

That is the original argument that you leftists strayed away from. "TRUMPS TROUBLES" LMFAO!

All you clown Liberals are suffering from TDS.

We've at least made some progress from "the cops let them in" to "gang of thugs breaking into offices." I know I'll never convince you these were actually Trump supporters despite literally all evidence pointing in that direction so I'll just cut my losses here.

If a Biden voter assaults someone in the streets do you blame Biden for that? That's just how ridiculous blaming Trump for any of this is.

This wasn’t some random spontaneous event, it was organized. Organized by Trump and his deranged minions.

Of course Trump had long encouraged other types of political violence as well. This was just more pointed, because he was flailing to try and steal the election.

I'm just saying they were Trump supporters. It's the Trump supporters themselves who are the ones blaming Trump:

Jan. 6 rioter who said he followed "orders” from Trump sentenced to prison

An Ohio man who said President Trump gave "presidential orders" to storm the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 has been sentenced to three years in prison, the Department of Justice announced Friday.

Proud Boys' lawyers plan to subpoena Donald Trump in seditious conspiracy trial

The defense argues that the Proud Boys participated in the Jan. 6 riot because Trump "called on patriots to stop the steal."

Lol... yeah, in which courtroom in America can someone blame someone else for THEIR OWN ACTIONS, and it be acceptable as a legal defense? Nice try...

Yeah, and who is the blame for the over a dozen people that killed people and burned building to the ground in that "mostly peaceful" ANTIFA and BLM riots a few years ago? The DNC... ANTIFA, BLM, Soros, Maxine Waters, Obama?

There were straight up murders in that NOT AT ALL -peaceful riots. You tell me which one of those people paid for, or called for, that string of murders in several cities across the U.S.A..
