I'l be out of town later this week, so I'm starting the thread early. The Gators, once again in much need of a big win, travel to Fayetteville to take on the highly athletic Razorbacks on Saturday, Feb 18 at 2:00pm. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2. Can the Gators rise to the occasion and get what would be a huge win? Pick the score, the MVG, and the SoG, which will be Riley Kugel pts. This was the first SoG this year and after Kugel has seen some rapid development, I'm coming back to it. It will be interesting to see how he matches up against an athletic team like Arkansas. My pick: Gators 74 Razorbacks 82 Mvg Richard SoG: 7
Why is it, that teams we play have their best player coming back from injury. Nick Smith 6’5” guard/wing, lottery pick. The hogs play Texas A & M at 8:00 pm at College Station!
That should be a good game. I like to see a strong scoring team go up against overly aggressive defenses like A&M and TN. I think the Hogs play a good game tonight.
With playing a bad game against Vandy I think that the Gators need to get one of two between the Hawgs on the road and UK at home to have a chance to be dancing. And we still have to play at Vandy's weird gym. I will tell you somethings that are truy weird about their gym other than the floor layout. On the score board it is Vandy on the left and the visitors on the right. Super weird. Everywhere else I have ever been it was the other way around with the home team on the right. And when they give player stats it is fouls first and then points. Uber weird. Again the opposite of what is normal. It isn't just the floor that is weird.
After watching Ark @ A&M, I think the Hogs can be had. Didn't think that before and even with Castleton out, they are not an unbeatable team. Our guards have to be great and Fudge/Jitoboh have to play out of their minds. I still don't think we win, but wouldn't count it out. The Hogs have their share of wtf moments, just like the Gators.
Yes, but at least we balance it out by having our best player benched due to injury for the remainder of the season.
