LSU baseball: Sophomore pitcher Grant Taylor reported out for 2023 season with a torn UCL (247sports.com) Or at least projected closer. #15 MLB prospect, but also a +5 ERA last year. Their opening day starter a transfer from Air Force,, Im sure hes was good in MWC.. Saturday starter a transfer from UCLA,, I saw him last year, can confirm he is good. lol Guessing will be the #1 by SEC play.
As long as it doesnt approach AU luck, Im sure theyll be fine. About 4 arms to go to reach the AU average last few years. Nothing on that front yet,,but give it the weekend.lol You dont miss a beat however when replacing walk ons with walk ons..
AU....? Are you referencing Auburn? I don't recall them having this significant of injuries. Alabama yes, but not Auburn.
Auburn has lost 2/3 of starting roatition prior to SEC play 2 of last 3 full years. Before that(4 yrs ago)..Last true ace they had, Tanner Burns missed back half of his last year, & missed CWS. Bama had Prelip hurt, cant think of any others, but take your word for it. Who else btw? Much like Auburn though, they also replce walk ons with walk ons for the most part. That should be over with at AU, with the NIL,, Not sure if Bama cares enough to do the same, but probably. I cant recall last AU team in any sport that didnt have major loss due to injury. Been a while. Used to it though.
