Mr Smith doesn't play. DT lost big time when he was selected.

Meadows: a subpoena for me? Don't you know who I am? Hope the mfer gets indicted at some point as he was neck deep in it. These scumbags think they are above the law.

I’m going to start referring to him as Agent Smith. The problem for Trump is that he’s no Neo:)

Mr. Smith may not play but he will, like Mueller, follow the rules - which are different for the well-connected political class.

Pence is fighting his subpoena - not to protect Trump or get on the good side of Trump's base, no, never that - but over 'separation of powers'. He was acting as President of the Senate on Jan. 6th, so the executive branch can't compel him to appear in court. And, of course, he didn't hear, see, nor smell anything prior to, or after, Jan. 6th (and you know he wouldn't dare touch anything unclean). It's enough of a pretext to get in front of SCOTUS, if need be - but some judge along the line will lean in favor of institutional precedent long before he ever has to invoke the 5th.

Meadows will get off the same way. Just like the DOJ stepped in to defend Trump in the personal civil suit brought by Carroll because he was the sitting president and that's the rule. The institutions will defend themselves and jealously protect their privileges and powers - for the good of the country, of course.

In other news of the protected political class:

Gaetz won't be charged while his partner in crime is going to jail for 11 years - and the 11 years is reduced for his 'cooperation' even though his 'cooperation' is apparently worthless because he's such an unreliable scumbag. I guess they had to offer him the deal first to find that out, as if banging drugged up teenagers didn't tip them off.

Neither will get off that way but Pence can probably delay things 5 months taking thing to the SC. The DOJ will still compel his testimony (the Nixon era SC ruling sealed his fate) but the DOJ won’t rely on it they have a torrent of insiders and lawyers giving testimony. Meadows on the other hand is absolutely screwed he will testify post haste.

Can you stop being a drive-by negative repper. If you disagree, try not to a lazy. Explain your reason why you like to throw negative reps. Oh, and I have no problem with it per se if you simply explain yourself. Stop being so damned lazy and insufferable.

But if you cannot control yourself then just quit reading what I post and stop with your harassment/stalking of my posts.

You have 20K+ likes (I assume from the sports forum) most of the stuff you post here is either wrong, lies or (usually) both. You are still claiming Trump and his henchmen didn’t try to end democracy in the US as we know it. Engaging in dialogue with you is futile if one expects a fact based discussion. You should feel lucky not to get dislikes. If you want to bolster your rep further cut it out. Otherwise expect drive by dislikes.

Really, name one... or all of them. You have an opinion that I almost always disagree with, but that does NOT make you wrong, nor does that make you a liar.. Think about that for a moment... when you decide that your opinion is always right and only you are right.

Oh, and one more thing, I have far more than 22,000 likes. I only get one like counted per post even if I get ten in one post, and many of them are from Too Hot.

That January 6th protestors were let into the building by capitol police, despite voluminous evidence to the contrary, because of one video that you saw which you now can't/won't find?

Did you even see the actual videos? The evidence contradicts your opinion.

I watched it live, I saw numerous videos of hoardes of people forcing their way into the building, and perhaps the easiest way to make a determination here - almost 200 people convicted who received a fair trial and weren't able to convince a jury that capitol police simply let them in. To still claim otherwise flies in the face of all logic and is no longer just an opinion. If you still disagree with that then just don't be surprised when you get some bacons.

There are endless videos out there of those peaceful insurrectionists beating cops with flagpoles and their fists that day not to mention using bear and pepper spray.

Also many have testified that they were armed with guns that day in their court cases.

Post one video proving your point, then.

You act as if these were ANTIFA or BLM level riots. They were NOT. There were NO weapons used to casually walk into the Capital building.

Sow me the violence on cops Jan., 6th, and prove to me that these were MAGA people doing it.

    You have NO proof.

Odd innit that nearly 200 prosecuted guilty Federal cases in front of numerous Federal judges were also completely falling for it, BUT not Rick !!! No he's the one that has THE video and thus the real proof and all those court cases are wrong. LOL This is simply got me chuckling.

Pretty short one but if you don't want to watch the whole thing you can skip to about the 3 minute mark.
