We end up with 10 of 17 from 3 point land....half coming from Myreon Jones.

We would have beaten both Vandy and Kentucky, if we had shot our threes this well.

 

Sxzyymchyxzk is averaging 2 points per minute over the last seven or eight games. If he were starting and playing all 40 minutes at that pace, he'd be scoring 80 points per game. Pull the trigger, Coach. Hand him the keys to the Cadillac. Apologies for the mixed metaphors.

How the hell is Mississippi State in but we arent? They are 5-7 in league play and didnt have a great OOC schedule. Man I promise we got to start having an easier OOC with the way the SEC is going. To many other teams arent being punished for not having one as hard as ours.

 

Props to JJ stepping up with CC out. Got a lot of minutes.

Thoughts Reeves brought some good energy and more importantly hit his shots. Jones with a solid all around game. Loved that one diving hustle play.
Kugel getting better every game.

Free throws and turnovers not good but good to see a win even if it is vs Ole Miss.

Saw the game on demand. Besides the obvious loss of CC moving forward, I saw a team who hit shots that they haven't recently. Not that the shot selection was any better, just that they went in. The team looks tired, probably more mental than physical.

It feels like it is going to end up short of a 6th place finish in the league. But we shall see.
