I say no excuses if you can’t make 8. I am inclined to believe the gap between 1 and 12 is wider than the gap between 1 and 8
I like 8 the best, but I change my mind yearly. This past year it should have just been 2. UGA vs. Mich.
Six is the perfect number for a playoff, IMO. How often can you argue for more than a half dozen (if that) who should realistically be in the title conversation at the end of the year? And a 6-team playoff would give the #1 and #2 seeds a much deserved bye. I'm in favor of anything that won't diminish the importance of the regular season. Obviously money runs the show, and a bigger playoff means more $$$, so I'm not surprised they went with 12.
Except mich got beat and Bama may have been able to give Georgia a run. Let ‘em play. No sense on having less meaningful games.
I like 12. It’s not even 10% (9% to be exact) as there are 133 D1A schools in football. Compare that to the NFL where 14 of the 32 teams make the playoffs (44%).
Use Brave as your browser. I know it may not help the site get ad revenue, but it’s basically unusable with the ads IMO.
I used an ad blocker but after the latest Samsung update posting became too glitch to even use it at all. Now I'm on a regular search engine and yes it's loaded with ads.
