GAINESVILLE, Fla. – ESPN and SEC Network have officially released the 2023 television schedule for the upcoming season. Florida is scheduled to appear 10 times across the ESPN family of networks plus an additional 22 home games will be digitally produced via SEC Network+. Highlighting this year's scheduled television slate for the Gators is their matchup at Tennessee the weekend of April 22-24. The three-game series is set to be SEC Network's highlighted series of the week with the finale airing Monday night at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network. Overall, the Orange & Blue will play four games on SEC Network, five games on ESPNU and one game one on ESPN2. Also, the Gators will appear 22 additional times throughout the regular season on SEC Network+. All 12 games of the 2023 SEC Softball Tournament will be televised on May 9-13. Nine games from the first and quarterfinal rounds will air on SEC Network, while the semifinals and title game will air on ESPN2. Florida returns a multitude of players from the 2022 squad that secured the program's 11th trip to the Women's College World Series last season. That includes 2023 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Top 50 "Watch List" selections Charla Echols, Skylar Wallace and Kendra Falby. In the circle, 2021 NFCA All-American Elizabeth Hightower returns for her fifth year along with senior Rylee Trlicek and sophomore Lexie Delbrey. Florida opens its 2023 season Friday, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m. against Boston University in Tampa, Fla. at USF's tournament.
