Remember when one Russian politician said it's Feb 2022 drills were purely defensive?

Remember when NATO was purely a defensive alliance and then it expanded by 16 nations and moved 1,000 km to the East ?

aka severe cognitive distortions. (don't want you to get in trouble for being politically incorrect on a foreign policy thread)

He's a BOT man. When you gonna figure that out? I recommend the "Block" function, which thankfully shields me from that fools Russian propoganda.

As easy as it is to believe he's on the payroll, it's important to note that he has a long history of denying reality.

Before this latest virus-denying, Russia-is-the-good-guy version of the poster, the old version slapped the keyboard just as much denying the laws of thermodynamics and other reality based concepts.

If it really is Dreamliner, he also blamed the west for WW2 way back when. Also that sodium wasn’t bad for you, among other things. I just thought he was trying to be a clever contrarian at the time.

I like to think he just enjoys it. That he doesn't really believe all this stuff and that he's absolutely brilliant with the way he's able to troll us for so long and so deeply. I picture him chortling as he types. At the dinner table, "Honey, guess what I told them today?!?"

Any other explanation is just depressing.

Nah I doubt he's a bot, but I only spend about 20 minutes on here a day killing time so don't really care. Blocking is childish like the silent treatment you give someone when you're 9.

More like a troll. It wouldn't surprise me if he received a message like this.

    You think ?

The battle for Bakhmut is costing Ukraine dearly, and if the soldiers there are surrounded and suffer heavy casualties, it could undermine the credibility of President Volodymyr Zelensky's administration inside Ukraine and abroad - The Wall Street Journal

Problem is, everyone else has to wade through the posts by people arguing with someone speaking jibberish.

Nobody has to do anything in an online forum.

fair enough, to rephrase it…The vast majority of people read this thread for actual information on events in Ukraine. So one person spouting jibberish and getting troll responses was able to wreck that, which is why most put him on ignore. Earlier in the thread there were literally pages at a time with people responding to what was clearly Russian propaganda.
I would also say real information that isn’t favorable to Ukraine is certainly welcomed. He just wasn’t that.

That includes debating an obvious troll.

I will second that, for those of us using this thread for actually trying to track news updates with the war, it drastically reduces the value of this thread when 90% of the posts are people responding to an obvious troll who has no interest in legitimate discourse.

This is funny. I recognized the HMSQE based on the unique shape of the end of the front. Looks like the British Navy may have donated shier shiny new flagship ;>
