More info for what it is worth. Rylee looked very fast yesterday but they got to her a little bit the second time around. Maybe she doesn't throw enough off speed stuff. Lexie was dressed and throwing the ball around but she was wearing a boot. She will be needed when these games become really important. I'm done rambling now. Agreed. I think the five wild pitches/passed balls in one inning -- scoring two runs in the process -- was probably an NCAA record.

CTW could have brought out Smiley and he would have gotten a hit.

Question for you fans that go to KSP. I'm planning on going to Bubly on 3/11 to see the ladies play a double header against Mercer and Louisiana. Do I need one or two tickets to see both games?

 

It would be nice to be in a tourney with the caliber of the Clearwater event teams, rather than facing opponents you'll beat 21-0. I'm not sure what you learn about your team from that. Plus it looked like those games were televised.

 

I believe that the tickets are for the tournament day.

Yeah, I saw that. I'm thinking the better the opponents the more prepped you are. I took a look at OK's preseason schedule. They are playing 4 tourneys with quality opponents. We are playing 2, if you rank the Ragin Cajuns up there.

 

One ticket will get you in for both games.

 

I like a strong schedule as well....but ours is very strong and will certainly have them ready for anything they will see postseason

 

The team has exceeded my expectations thus far this season. Playing good ball right now.

 

Agreed! Next week is going to be very exciting playing the West Coast teams. If they can beat all of those teams, it could be a very special season (barring injuries, of course). Go Gators!

 

I think this team is very good but to have a "special season" so to speak, Lexie has to return and be as effective as last year less all the walks.......then look out.
