I don't know if that was defensive holding there at the end or not, but I hate it when the announcers talk about they shouldn't make that call at this point in the ballgame. The rules should apply all four quarters and if you're going to call it in the first you call it in the fourth. Outside of all of that, what a great game

Yes until the last part. It'll be brushed past, and only pissed off philly fans will be bitching about it after tomorrow, and they'll be dismissed as sore losers and/or conspiracy theorist cooks.

    C'est la vie.

    Gators rocked tonight either way.

    GO GATORS!!

Mahomes showing why he's one of the greatest QBs to ever play. Great game! Would like to see Jalen Hurts eventually win one, he's a class act.

One of the better Super Bowls I remember. Very good game.

Smidge tainted with that call a little bit - it kind of took the air out of a spectacular game. I didn't really care who won, but I hated seeing that. Now if Petty was alive-I would of preferred his halftime show, one of the better ones a while back.

I guess the new dancing craze is pregnant momma grabbing her camel toe. I suppose Elvis Started it many years ago along with Little Richard. Flyover and fireworks were good.

    Agreed-great Gator showing!

    Go Gators.

Greg Olsen catching much flak for gaslighting viewers into viewing the outcome as ref-tainted.

Passing game has to be respected but Mahomes taking what was there on a gimpy leg just illustrates what a "willing runner" can do to stress a defense. I'd take a QB that will just take the 3 to 5 yard plus gains here and there than a once in a while home run threat....

    Gas lighting????

The refs took a tied 2 possession game, with likely OT, and gift wrapped it into a chip shot for all marbles snoozer, over a gentle tug that wouldn't have pulled a flag in flag football...for a pass that was uncatchable if the WR was spiderman.

Ps--i had no rooting interest (actually, pulling for the chiefs bc udog, and had more Gators, but that's about it).

Rubbish, this assumption that you’re supposed to keep hankies in your pocket after two minute warning. It’s like bro code or something.

If you think a "gentle tug" during a receiver break isn't a penalty then you probably never played football.

If you think the overthrow factor matters it doesn't because the penalty occurred before the ball was in the air.

Also, the non called holding against Philly in the 1st half was even more egregious of a hold. Timing of the infraction shouldn't matter. I hate the argument you don't call a blatant infraction just because it occurs at the end of a game.

If that happened to the Gators and they didn't call it people here would lose their minds.

I have played football, and it's still a garbage call. The *hold* was little more than a slight tug of the jersey that did nothing to alter the route.

Can't even accept the defender admitted to it.
You know better than him I guess.

    Agree Malscott.
The halftime show was a magnificent production and Rhianna is very talented. It would not have diminished the show one iota if the rear end massaging, crotch grabbing and hip gyrations suggesting…. Gosh I’m getting old.

What's bizarre is that this pic is what's circulating. The hold was the jersey tug on the break prior to this.

I agree the tug didn't really change the route but disagree OT was certain. Philly would have had 1:30 or so to go 50 yards for a FG attempt.

Do you have eyes, or do you take what's baby-fed to you by the NFL via the player?

The *[scratch]hold[scratch]* contact occurs within 5 yards of the LOS.

    Watch and judge for yourself.

    Hell, YOU linked the video.

    It was a non-penalty.

BTW, serious question: did YOU ever play football???
