What the heck happened to the defense the last two games? Undisciplined in almost every aspect. One step forward, two steps back this year.
So Florida left CC in the game when Vandy center got 4 fouls. Instead of pounding inside to CC with him out, he gets one shot attempt and Vandy actually expands their lead. Been better to have played Fudge at the 5 for two minutes and rest CC- he was loafing down the court on defense the last 2-3 sets as he’s tired. Not blaming him. im signing off for today. To me, coaching and defense a lot to be desired in the effort today. good luck!
That along with other misses at the rim cost us today . Damn Florida athletics. We are Northwestern, Stanford , . Now we get beat in football and basketball by Vandy !!!
Two must score possessions and we get a Jones jumper and a Castleton long jumper. The basketball IQ just isn’t there. What a disappointing way to basically end the tournament hopes.
Missed 3s and missed FTs cost us this game and basically killed any chance of being in the tournament. I thought we had a chance but the missed free throws really killed us. Could be a 2 point game and then we aren't jacking up stupid shots. Oh well. At least I got some work done during the game.
It's been over since the non con schedule ended. Zero even mediocre wins doomed us. Not like we were gonna miraculously go 13-5 in SEC and get an at large.
