Did you take the mRNA vaccine?

 

Since the flu was brought up, for those following along at home, a bad flu season in the US is 50,000 deaths. Covid killed about 500,000 Americans in the first year, and about 450,000 the second year.

Flu and covid are very different.

 

Cite a source that shows anyone shelved effective therapeutics, please. They did shelf some, but only after they proved to be completely ineffective against Omicron, which represents over 90% of COVID cases now. And when is the last time a flu was #3 cause of death, and caused over 100,000 deaths in a year? Let alone 500,000?

Know what turns COVID into another flu? The vaccine, which data shows is highly effective against hospitalization and death.

 

Yes they are. Covid is far more contagious and at the end of the day they have similar fatality rates. Bad disease. And we have caused far too much unnecessary damage. Instead of focusing on the high risk groups we decided to go one size fits all with a new shot that does not even work. Shoot it is worse than the flu shot which has a terrible efficacy itself.

 

I shudder to think how many more tens of thousands of dead Floridians there would be if you had been making the calls.

 

We did pretty well in handling this with DeSantis. Fortunately we have fewer people who unnecessarily took these shots as well.

 

You and the list here on too hot would scream at the top of their lungs if anyone supported safe to use drugs that had decades of safety data to go off of. Did they all work? No. But absolutely doctors were pressured to not use drugs that made total sense to try. And instead of letting medical professionals do their job...people here would accuse posters of taking horse paste or supporting the use of horse paste.

Really hard to have a rational conversation with people that ignorant. And no...I never sought ivermectin or hcq. When I finally got covid...Tylenol and Ibuprofen did the trick for my few hours with a 99.2 fever. But if we only had allowed physicians to do their job instead of pushing super expensive drugs like Remdesivir which did not work well at all...we would have saved tons of money and had just as good and likely better outcomes. Shoot if we started with steroids instead of sending people home until they were really sick and then sticking them on a vent...we would have saved so many lives. But cheap steroids don't make money!

 

No link to data. No link citing sources effective therapeutics were pulled off the shelf. In short, other than your opinion, you got nothing.

 

I am just speaking reality. We had options. The government ran a propaganda campaign to push expensive treatments. And time showed how bad that decision has been. The sad thing is they continue to push the failed shots unnecessarily. Worse. The reality the benefit is not there for anyone at this point but the safety signals are.

Fortunately you are in the minority that still can’t see reality. I do hope for your health safety you are able to see reality soon. It very likely will be important in the future for your doctor to know how many of these shots you took.

 

We're talking in circles. I bring data and facts to the conversation. You ignore them and post your "reality." I ask you to back it up with data and facts. You can't. Then it's wash, rinse, repeat.

 

You keep following the propaganda if you wish. I truly hope you see the reality and this is just a front. Because if you really are still pushing these shots on yourself and family/kids…it is infuriating to watch thankfully a minority now fall for the propaganda.

By the way, as someone who has been a pharmacist for years, and who is actually certified to immunize patients, I will gladly put my and Cat’s expertise up against yours any day of the week. We have the facts backing us up.

Also, for the record, almost all vaccines are typically completely out of your system by no later than 15 minutes after the shot, which is why we advise patients to sit and wait around for that time frame after the immunization to make sure there aren’t any adverse reactions. Yet you and the ignorant anti/vax crowd continue to think all a sudden years down the road all these horrible side effects are going to happen, with no proof of course. Don’t quit your day job.

 

If they don't get enough attention here, they start posting pub threads in too hot, rather keep them busy here than doing that.

Here is the "Recipe that fosters influenza vaccine interest and demand," in the truncated language that appears on his slides: "Medical experts and public health authorities [should] publicly (e.g. via media) state concern and alarm (and predict dire outcomes) - and urge influenza vaccination." This recipe, his slide show indicated, would result in "Significant media interest and attention ... in terms that motivate behavior (e.g. as 'very severe,' 'more severe than last or past years,' 'deadly')." Other emotive recommendations included fostering "the perception that many people are susceptible to a bad case of influenza" and "Visible/tangible examples of the seriousness of the illness (e.g., pictures of children, families of those affected coming forward) and people getting vaccinated (the first to motivate, the latter to reinforce)."

Who didn't see this coming? Well, the school lockdown clowns that post on here for one. Can't fathom people still thought shutting down schools was the right decision. We had the data then to know to open schools in fall of 2020. Everything else is just BS to cover for their terrible decision.

No, that thread appears to have run its course. Both warring camps on this thread are misguided.

Whether viruses exist or not is THE fundamental issue. It is not enough to argue that “Covid is real, deadly to some, but we overreacted.” As you can clearly see, Team Fear is dug in.

You can produce a hundred studies suggesting that masks are ineffective ... and they’ll find the one that suggests they are. It’s futile.

Let’s take an axe to the roots.
