Makes sense but we don’t know much. A group effort wasting money that way is even more disconcerting

I read his Twitter post on that too. But I just want to know one thing. Did we get rid of the person that wrote up that supposed contract?

And you are correct about the 500K cash up front, it was a violation of Florida NIL laws at the time the supposed contract was written.

I agree with that. It likely was a draft. If it was a signed contract, Florida's collective would be on the hook.

But even a drafted OFFER? Isn't this the largest known NIL deal by a factor of 3 or 4? What was our collective thinking?

It feels like we got "Ruiz-d". Bunch of rich wise guys tired of the fact that he seemed to decide which of our future players he wanted to steal. So they made Jaden an "offer he couldn't refuse".

It all comes down to Ruiz and his meddling in Gators' football recruiting.

What evidence? If the guy has the contract, post it in it’s entirety. There’s no source. There’s no contract posted anywhere. The guy who says he has an actual copy of the contract won’t even post a quote from it.

The quote agents from SMU have everything to gain. The truth will unfortunately come out in court or all the lawyers and agents arguing that he said this. The truth is Miami is signing players before they are in school, signing contracts and paying money. That is expressly against the NCAA new guidelines.

Funny but sad as we are the deep pockets and most well known institution, the perception in the west, midwest and the NE I have heard so many spout off about Florida like Miami, Rasahada, his two different agent groups are not even part of the equation. Even Andy Stapes involving himself and leading every sentence with Florida this and Florida that. Being silent we are being tried in the media. We should sue everyone involved when this mess is over!

They keep track of all kinds of data. They’re using them in all the sports now.

Why would anyone more than double the NIL payment of another program? Makes no sense. The richest NIL in history of college sports by wide margin. Someone should never be allowed aroujd this process again

It's bizarre to me that anyone would be offering any 4 year NIL contracts of that magnitude. Not only has the kid not taken a college snap, it is a possibility your guy blows out a knee in the first training camp.

Personally, I don't believe any of these numbers. How hard is it for a rival or anyone to fabricate a fake contract in this day and age? I'd be very leery of anyone sending me a pdf of the contract claiming it was the actual document signed by the two parties. Something tells me that if those numbers were in fact true, there'd be some lawyer willing to challenge that out clause and there already would be a lawsuit.

    But, I'm no lawyer.
