And yet he (Trump) managed to lose to Biden by over 8 million votes and that was after he debated Biden who apparently came over better than Trump despite Biden's alleged cognitive deficit.

 

Correct. They let it stay up there because they wanted to find out what it is the Chinese were attempting to look at. If you shoot it down over Montana, your chances of finding out China’s full intent are much lower, for obvious reasons.

Wow so many of you have so many of "THE ANSWERS" and reality we know very little other than:

Other than that, the rest is up to believe what someone is telling us, that have had the propensity to not be totally truthful.
My opinion it was a test to see how we acted, it amazes me that several on here, from both sides, were all about shooting it down when they could have early on. Actually, both sides agreed on something. We waited, so now we can all go to our corners again and some will say should have done sooner, some believe right for us to have waited for it to be over water is why and now out of thin air it happened when Trump was President.
What happens in the end? China gets whatever data it recovered, our reaction time, our ability to shoot it down and we can all go back to our partisan rants about each side doing things wrong. Who wins? Our advisories because we can't unite for anything!!
