My informant have told me that China was merely celebrating the 3rd birthday of the Kung Flu.

 

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Glad we took it out and am hoping an analysis of the debris will be informative. Had it been shot down over CONUS and the debris had killed or injured Americans on the ground, those same hypocrites that are bitching that we waited too long to take it out would have whined about that.

 

It also avoided Tallahassee.

Read that book years ago when it first came out. The best of all of the books Tom Clancy wrote in my opinion. The Hunt for Red October is second on my list.

 

Has anyone else noticed that media, from CNN to FOX, has gone all in on calling this a "Spy Balloon"? I mean, there is a good chance it is, but as far as I know, there has been no confirmation of what the balloon could do and why the Chinese sent it... I mean, calling it a "Chinese Balloon that invaded our space" should be fine, for now.

 

I agree. Let’s be sensitive to the feelings of the Chinese.

It's got nothing to do with "being sensitive"... it's about reporting verifiable facts. You against reporting facts, now?

I mean, since the military can't figure out why China would send a spy balloon, when they have spy satellites, it's possible this was just a troll job by China, who are going to release the details of their "weather balloon" and make America look stupid for calling it a spy balloon...

 

My first hand account was that it looked like a hand full of fighter jets were in pursuit over my house very very high up. It was just a matter of time until they outmaneuvered the balloon. Very exciting stuff.. like the low speed OJ chase, only slower but with fighter jets!

 

Let's see if I can create a right wing talking point:

The Chinese balloon was gathering intelligence on American gas stove owners on Biden's orders.
