Great meet and crowd. We got hosed on some scores for sure: Trinity and Leann on bars: Victoria on the beam and floor; Rachel on the floor. Got to visit with @bofud and family after the meet. They are such nice people. Sloane had a great floor routine. If she had not stumbled on the last pass, we would have had a 198. That is no diss on her because she did well tonight. We are getting there, and we need to stay healthy.
Nice score resting some of our regular performers. Both Trin and Leanne should have gotten 10's on the bars
Meanwhile on the Bayou The LSU gymnastics team improved its season scoring mark Friday night, but once again victory in the meet proved to be frustratingly elusive for the Tigers. All-American Haleigh Bryant made it five all-around titles in five meets this season, but it wasn’t enough to keep LSU from falling 197.475-197.250 at Arkansas on Friday night before a sellout crowd of 7,147 at Barnhill Arena.
AT Arkansas tomorrow will be a good challenge for the ladies. Quite an environment for their win over LSU. Should be fun to watch!
UF - 197.875 Arky - 197.400 Strong road score with an uncharacteristic letdown on the floor. Wong with a pair of 10's (bars & beam).
Glad you are feeling better. The season is heating up. We need all hands on deck! Clapper has a sprained ankle, will return soon Baumann elbow injury should return to Vault line-up soon Nagging minor injuries have limited Hurd and Rily's training
Big win over Mizzou tonight! Ladies posted a very good 198.35 to Mizzou's 196.625. Kayla DiCello got her first career 10 (bars) and Trinity go ta 10 on beam. IMO, both Trinity and Leanne deserved 10's on bars just as much as Kayla (both got 9.975). Very strong showing for the ladies!
