It’s hilarity that the anti-science/anti-vax people’s response is always “go get another booster!” Wow, you sure got me with that witty comeback, lol. How about you let us do what we want and you do what you want and remain completely ignorant about science and how it works. Deal? Or you can keep getting triggered by people getting boosters that have no affect on your life.

Knock yourself out. I don't care what you do. But if you believe getting that 7th booster will help then you aren't worth having a conversation with.

Well if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck ......

    CLAIM
mRNA COVID-19 vaccines might do more harm than good
    VERDICT
    [IMG]
SOURCE: Aseem Malhotra, Journal of Insulin Resistance, 26 Sep. 2022

    DETAILS
Inadequate support: Malhotra’s claim that COVID-19 vaccines might do more harm than good is based on anecdotal evidence and low-quality studies—some of them disputed—that are insufficient to support his claim.
Cherry-picking: The article cited mainly studies suggesting a negative effect of COVID-19 vaccines, but didn’t acknowledge the wider body of evidence showing that the vaccines are safe and effective.

Those of us with actual degrees in the science community laugh in frustration with the ignorance, but you do you, boo.

You and "the science" on masks? School closures? Lockdowns? Natural Immunity? I can keep going. You are the perfect example of the type of obtuse person who thinks those things still was the right decision. Grab that 8th booster Sport!

There are some people with science degrees that you should never listen to. And it is frustrating that smart people won’t ask questions. Which is science.

Lol, define woke for me. Just like our incompetent governor, it appears you don’t understand what it means. The right literally thinks everything is “woke.”

The fact some on here actually believed and followed that nonsense (and still do to this day) makes you wonder whether they should have their degrees revoked lol…

In this regard it's not mentioning that masks don't work to stop covid spread. Some have been saying this for years now. You keep masking up though.

I was prescribed the Merck pill (Lagevrio) because my doctor thought that Paxlovid, the Pfizer pill usually prescribed for Covid could interact with the other meds I was taking. Obviously anecdotal it was apparently effective since I recovered from the Covid rather quickly. I tested positive on January 7, started taking the drug on the evening of January 8th, by the January 9th the symptoms were much less severe essentially going from those of a bad cold to a mild cold and by the 12th or 13th the symptoms of Covid-19 were almost completely gone with only minor nasal congestion remaining. I would concede that it's just as likely that the short course of the illness may have been attributable to the fact that I was fully vaxxed and boosted as it was to the antiviral and that I may still have recovered quickly even if I had not taken the drug.

Not a physician or scientist but I suspect that other antivirals and antibiotics could have a similar effect as that indicated by the study.

Lagevrio is also much more readily available right now compared to Paxlovid. Paxlovid is out there, but it’s also requiring you to drive a distance to receive it unless you happen to live in the area where they’re able to get it in. Publix has it set to where only a select set of stores will receive them, acting as a hub so to speak.
