There was another President who relied on a teleprompter, the difference between him and Old Joe is that he was incredibly skilled at doing so probably attributable to his experience as an actor before he entered politics.

Since you apparently didn't click on the link the operative text is below. Don't see any mention of Jimmy Carter.

So both Reagan and Obama used a teleprompter? While Reagan was among the most skilled political speakers in the English language when it came to delivering scripted speeches he didn't come anywhere close to Obama when it came to speaking spontaneously as indicated by Reagan's 15 solo news conferences during his eight years in office in contrast to Barack Obama's 64. In fact, Reagan held fewer news conferences requiring off the cuff responses than any president in the last 100 years. Even Biden who has held 11 press conferences during his two years in office has been willing to answer impromptu questions at a greater rate than Ronald Reagan.

To get back on topic, here's another article describing the differences between the Biden and Pence cases, and Trump's case. The article contains a rough timeline of the steps the Archives took to get the docs back from Trump. This included a subpoena in early May to return all the docs by May 24. Trump asked for and received an extension, and some items were returned in early June. Included in this was an affidavit claiming the June return was everything, which was an outright lie. And this lie showed intent on Trump's part to not cooperate fully with the Archives.

    As the article puts it:

To date, Biden and Pence freely gave up the marked documents as soon as they were found and proactively allowed their lawyers to search their properties out of an abundance of caution – whereas the department found getting documents back from Trump to be a monumental struggle.

But from the perspective of federal prosecutors, a source familiar with the matter said, the overtures were deceptive: the compliance was incomplete, and the FBI seized 101 classified-marked documents from the property, including from the storage room that they passed off as clear.

“The big element here is that you know they want the documents back and you resist or impair,” Litman said. “That false certification is strong evidence of intent.

I hope they all get prosecuted and we clear the runway for some folks that don’t remember the Korean War.

Nine more boxes of documents found.

Nine boxes of Biden documents taken from Boston office

EXCLUSIVE: Nine boxes of documents were taken from President Biden's attorney Patrick Moore's Boston office, but have yet to be reviewed, the National Archives disclosed in a response letter to GOP Sens. Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley this week first obtained by Fox News Digital.

The Archives had not previously publicly disclosed the number of boxes taken from Boston. It had been reported that Moore had shipped boxes of documents from the Penn Biden Center to his Boston office before discovering the initial trove of classified documents at the D.C.-based think tank.

And as far as I could determine no one ever lied about the presence of the documents, the presence of the documents was disclosed immediately upon discovery and there is absolutely no indication that they were moved to avoid to discovery in contrast the behavior of a certain former president. An implicit attempt at "whataboutism" when there are few substantive similarities.

This appears to be old news, just the Archive is now saying it was 9 boxes.

"Despite having possession of the documents since November, the Archives has not yet reviewed the boxes' content to determine whether additional classified materials are inside."

Would help if you read your own links.

And likely the National Archives would never have disclosed the fact that NINE boxes were discovered if not for the request of the GOP inquiry.

How do you know that they were not moved to avoid discovery? Even if they were, would we even hear about it? Likely not, as to whataboutism - multiple boxes were pulled from ML and now at least 10 boxes have been pulled from Derpy so that is the similarity even if you don't want to admit it.

At least you acknowledge the thread, unlike others who just keep looking in the other direction and hope it goes away.

Please keep us posted as to when Biden is issued a court ordered seizure to obtain those boxes. Also let us know when Biden defies the order and states all boxes are in Archives' possession when they are not. THEN it will be similar to Orange Boy.

I agree that Biden's boxes aren't a story if Trump didn't act the way he did. Small security leaks of docs that accidently get misplaced when those with clearance move or the like is not at all uncommon. It also happened with Pence. But we rarely, if ever hear about it, as long as the person with the classified docs cooperates with the Feds and returns 100% of the materials.

Had Trump cooperated and returned everything when asked, we wouldn't have heard about that. Nor what happened wit Pence or Biden. But Trump didn't cooperate, and didn't return everything without needing a warrant. Big difference between how Trump acted and how Pence and Biden acted in terms of cooperation and returning all materials.

you actually believe Garland will do anything of the sort? Why would he, Biden didn’t deny him a seat on SCOTUS. (Neither did Trump but it fits your narrative)

I don't disagree with any of this, but would just caution you on advocating for less transparency. If our officials are being careless (or worse) with the secure information that We've trusted them to manage, maybe it should be made public and scrutinized as appropriate.
