    Typing as I listen….

Remarkable win, I am really proud. They deserve this. We talked about pride and toughness and executing.. and we did that. To win by 13 against this team is a statement.

The good start was huge for us. To see the ball go thru the net takes away the nerves a bit and gives us some confidence.
And the defense was fantastic. We made big shots and free throws when needed.
Getting to line has been a strength for us, and we knock them down.

We talked about staying the course. Credit to our guys for stepping up. Great all around came from Castleton. He was tired but stepped up. We rolled him out there for the full twenty minutes of the second half He is a fifth- year senior, he battled and found a way.

We’ve been in a lot of games where we right there and didn’t finish. And this should provide a lot confidence.

They are having a lot of fun in there… enjoying the moment. And hopefully we can do this more as the season goes on.

<Very bad feed. Missed portions of the interview>

Boy if they can win at Kentucky, watch out because this team just fights and fights and fights and with a little confidence they can be a major thorn in some sides.

Yeah kudos to Castleton because we don't have much help for him inside. The guy has definitely battled his ass off.

I’m keeping my expectations in check. I think the team has a limited ceiling bc it shoots so poorly. But the defense is fantastic and they fight. If they claw their way into the tourney… I’ll be happy.

Can't underestimate the importance of the last 10 minutes. These types of games can swing things for a team very quickly....especially for us, having lost a few really tight games.

True. I just think we keep shooting under our ability and eventually it’ll turn, but season average is probably pretty darn accurate this late in the season.

Agreed! Florida (13-9, 6-3) will need to win a lot more SEC games in order to possibly qualify for the NCAAs.

At the half-way point in the season, Florida is 6-3: 4-1 home, 2-2 road. Gators lost three games by three points each.

    Five road games remaining:
    at Kentucky,
    at #4 Alabama,
    at Arkansas (#20 in kp),
    at Vanderbilt, at Georgia

    Only 4 home games left:
    Vandy,
    Ole Miss,
    Kentucky
    LSU

    Difficult road ahead!

Yeah - don’t understand the guys who call him soft.
He’s not a bruiser , that’s not his game, he’s got a great skill set around the rim, great passer, but nothing soft about his game

All home games are extremely winnable which would get us to 10. Win 2 road games and we are at 12-6. Obviously we could easily lose to Kentucky at home, but any loss at home other than that would be horrible for a bubble team. I think we can definitely get to 11 or 12 wins.

If we can get to 11 SEC wins, the Gators will definitely have a shot imo. Then you might be right that 12 SEC wins is the magic number so they would then need to win a game in the SECt. What a turnaround that would be after looking dead in the water earlier in the season if they get into the tournament.

Played 37 minutes against three Tennessee bigs. Sometimes, two at once

UT has 3 seven footers that CC had to battle...he really is doing an unbelievable job against some of the height and depth these other teams have.

Nothing is better than reading the words "Typing as I listen...." after a huge win. Everything is right with the world now.

He is also a fantastic rim protector and is one of the best in the entire country at doing so.
