As talented as they may or may not be, I expect to see improvement as the year goes on. They’ve had a lot more time together than last year’s group at least under this coaching staff. Mostly I’m talking about the guys were on the team last year who did not start.

If your escape goat isn't fast enough, try adding a jetpack :)

And there were also times CBN mentioned that AR made the right choice to not run because of how the defense was spying him. (and that AR needed to make the reads and find the open man when the defense did so)

Does that imply that these guys were pressured more (and therefore on the run) or that they were not "tuck and run" type QB's? Or both?

I was at that game, too. I think Treon threw something like six passes and completed maybe three. TD by the med student field goal holder was fun, too.

    Those were the days...

Didn't Muschamp hold a record for winning not one, but TWO, games while having less than 150 yards of total offense? I think we had more defensive picks than TD passes that season. So painful to watch. Grateful that Mullen (offensively) and Napier have made Gator football fun to watch again.

Wow. That gives some perspective on Wisky and what Mertz went through as a non-planned runner.

Wouldn't be surprised if that was true. Seems like fsu beat us with something like 97 yards of offense, too.

Yes, it is possible that Will Muschamp held a record for winning two games with less than 150 yards of total offense. Such a stat could reflect a strong defense, but also a lack of offensive production. The focus on defense over offense has led to some tough seasons for the Gators, but fans are grateful for the current coaches, Dan Mullen and Todd Grantham, for making the game more enjoyable to watch with their offensive strategies. The low yardage game you mentioned against Florida State University could have been a close and hard-fought battle, despite the lack of offensive production.

We have achieved time travel. Can it go in the opposite direction?

Of course the university figured out time travel. After all, it is the #5 public institution in the country which is a fantastic achievement.

Even if Napiers offense is better for him he is going against better defenses

It is obviously possible to be objective about something, realistic about probabilities, and pray like heck that the things turn around.
