Extenuating circumstances of rioting. The jury can decide. I'll bet they'll be really ready to decide after their businesses are burned down.
Yeah, that isn't the role of juries. They don't get to just decide to charge and convict people with random crimes that they didn't commit because it would make you happy. Nor do victims get to serve on juries deciding on a person's guilt.
I see a lot of naivete about how police departments work as well as assumptions about female officers here. I'm not the authority on what's wrong or how to fix things but I do know from experience that many here are making some naive assumptions with little to no experience. This is not a defense in any way of these 5 cops by the way.
Five law enforcement officers given badges, government authority, and deadly weapons brutally murdered a regular citizen, yet there is a group of posters more worked up over rioting (have there even been any large-scale riots?) than the state-sponsored brutality and violence that occurred. Talk about having your priorities in the wrong place.

I’ll ask again… anyone else think the tox screen for these five will be very telling? I bet something was impairing their judgement and maybe upping the anger.
Perhaps. The theory posited upthread that it was a case of mistaken identity or that they knew him is more likely, IMO. It seemed very personal.
I knew that but left it to you to identify yourself. lol. I think the bike cops were wearing dark bike shorts and a polo that said gpd. I can’t remember if they wore helmets but I think they did.
Don had no shame remember at Mardi Gras? When we were yelling at the women in the balconies to show us their chests(different word but I am trying to not run foul of the rules). A woman called down show us your junk, Don whipped it out and left it hanging and yelled back sure now show us your chests. A cop was next to us who told Don to tuck it away or he was going to cut it off and take him to jail. lol
Weird to come in here and tell people to calm down about something they’ve seen but you’re willingly avoiding for some reason. If you watched it, you’d have some context for the feelings displayed in this thread.
Numerous objections brought it to the attention of the moderators. The use of 'whining' instead of complaints or objections is subjective and inaccurate, injecting bias into the situation. No 'whining' was heard.
