Kid wants to play TE and baseball.

He can do both at UF.

The word "commitment" should no longer be used in recruiting.

Have to respect kids staying home and playing for their team.

First kid i've EVER heard say he was less than 100% committed. At least he's being honest. And it gives him negotiating leverage.

NIL is going to make even Saban have to play the game.

He's actually been pretty consistent about shipping out people who don't get with the program. He gets rid of about 30% of the roster. That is why his freshmen recruiting classes are always 25 players. He churns them as fast as your stock broker. Once he starts losing enough top recruits to NIL, he will either change the program or more likely retire. If enough schools are really in it to compete for recruits, NIL could even the field a bit so that not only Bama and Georgia get the best players. I don't think we will be in that group though.

A&M bought that class and Saban threw a fit( aimed at Bama boosters), They heard him loud and clear and Bama just pulled a stellar number one class this year again.

Not sure what it would take for our boosters to do that. I think that we have billionaires and other less rich booster who have much different priorities than football, which I would not fault them for.

I’m still calling it for South Carolina….

The Oregon visit this weekend though could be a deciding factor, because apparently they have a really good track team and he loves track.

Michigan is another that’s up there and apparently his HS coach went to Michigan.

For the past 8 out of 10 yrs, the NCAA T/F championship has taken place in Oregon.
Florida has won 5 and has been runner up in 4.
Oregon 2 wins, 1 runner up.
    Mich 0.

If track is so important, why isn't he even considering UF?
