MAGAts like Charlie Kirk are now complaining that their engagement with their fans on Twitter has been reduced since Elon took over. They are also complaining that they are getting unwanted liberal commentary in their feeds.

It appears that the algorithm has been changed to force opposing viewpoints to butt heads. Musk learned well from his fascist foreign masters.

Elon has shown the other Tech giants you can take quick, decisive and deep action on overhead without crippling the franchise. Tech is a funny industry in that most of the leaders consider their companies as perma-growth outfits and are loathe to disturb the company culture with the reality of the macro environment. Hard to blame them when the Fed and the Exec/Legislative branches kept rates low and flooded the system with free money.

But Elon has shown the way on what needs to be done if these companies want to survive the new reality of less demand and a higher cost of capital.

Falls for it, or uses it for tweets. Either way - not very helpful if he is on our side.

A former Twitter employee-turned-whisteblower told the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday the Trump White House urged it remove a 2019 Tweet by celebrity model Chrissy Teigen insulting then-President Donald Trump—a claim that contests Republicans’ narrative that Democrats colluded with Twitter to suppress conservatives content on the site.

Anika Collier Navaroli, Democrats’ witness in the hearing, said that the Trump White House contacted the company to remove a 2019 tweet by Teigen that referred to the then-president as a “p---y a-- b----.”

Navaroli said the company evaluated the tweet under its policy against abusive behaviors, which allows up to three insults per tweet, but ultimately decided against removing the tweet, which remains on the platform today.

They are not a decade behind. Tesla has always had quality control problems, the fit and finish on their cars is spotty at best. It is a much better tech company than car company. Tesla has a significant advantage in charging infrastructure and some advantage in battery technology.

The German, Japanese and Koreans will produce superior cars and their technology will catch up. The American releases are promising.

The educated right might embrace Tesla due to Elon's whackiness, but the MAGA right will continue to key them in parking lots.
