Question for the group...the team we will likely put on the floor for the next Georgia game (3 games from now) is how much of a goal-margin difference from the team we fielded in the first UGA game? All things being even, it feels like at least an 8 point swing, if they both get back to form. If nothing else, the effect of Jordan on the lineup is big on defense.
It all depends on HOW we utilize it. We played 2 bigs way too much with Jordyn prior and her being more of a 3 IMO..... We need to go 4 guard with her as a stretch 4 to really optimize the talent and her return. Our posts just aren't great outside of Kyle coming on of late. Whatever happens this next stretch of games is so huge for this year and for the projectory of the program. We could go on a nice little winning spree and get back a lot of the momentum that has been lost the last few weeks. If we want to meet expectations and continue the growth, these next 5 games will determine it.
Maybe. Maybe not. Watching recent seasons, the big difference between the Gators and most of the SEC was the size inside. We simply couldn't match up against their bigs. Finley is trying to mitigate that by bringing in more size. Not sure going back to small-ball is going to help us.
Jordyn isn't small at the 4. She and Kyle give us a lot of size without slowing us down and costing us.
