If you actually were reading and understanding the posts, you would realize buckeyetechgator obviously had no clue there were actually bridges in Arizona, until @AcCatFan pointed out that, not only are there bridges there, one of the most famous bridges in the history of the world is located in Arizona.

So, yep, that's pretty much game, set, match on the humiliation front when the underinformed was trying to be cute.

Pretty sure he conflated two common sayins that mean the same thing: beach property in Arizona, with 'a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn' (...or san fran)--both of which refer to a con job, or selling a lie-- something that doesn't exist, or that no one owns.

Pretty sure the bridges Axcat posted are publicly owned.

Investigators Seize More Classified Documents From Biden’s Home

 

I think the FBI, or the Archive, or someone needs to be providing more info on exactly what they found in Trump's files, and what they are finding in Biden's files. Not details that would have been classified but a listing of what the documents pertained to.

e.g. Presidential briefing where China was discussed.

If both lists of documents end up just being presidential briefings they received, I'm not so worried, and can see how that kind of stuff could get mixed up in your papers and it is unlikely SUPER top secret stuff gets discussed in a briefing.

But there was definitely the indication that what was found with Trump was not just briefings but included things that a President never really should have been in possession of in the first place (like information on of our spies).

If both lists of documents turn out to be nothing burgers, so be it.

Likewise, if either list includes documents that suggest something fishy was on going we should know that too.

 

Pretty much my exact thoughts. If something nefarious was happening with these docs then bury Trump/Biden under the jail. But if not then I really don’t care long as they are promptly returned and steps are taken to get this kinda shit under control moving forward. Seems to be a widespread problem.

 

And let's not forget they were invited into Biden's home to conduct the search and that six additional documents were discovered bringing the total to 25 to 30 documents in contrast to the last search of the former president's residence which was conducted pursuant to search warrant which was obtained after he failed to comply with a subpoena and that the number of documents improperly in his possession totaled over three hundred. Still predicting that in end Robert Hur the Special Counsel investigating Biden will find that the documents ended up in his possession as the result of carelessness and while improper didn't rise a level that would necessitate prosecution.

why wouldn't super top secret stuff get discussed in a briefing? If its something the president needs to know about I would think it would be in the daily brief.

 

Where does it say there are only 25-30 documents? The latest haul said there were 6 "items" containing classified files. An item could be a box or a storage container. Strange way to word this.

Actually, yes. Theft statutes are generally based upon the value stolen. That metaphor really doesn't work.

 

I'm speculating, as I've never attended such a meeting. But those briefings are fairly high level/broad brush I would expect. It isn't a private briefing w/ just the president, as such the level of detail would be limited to avoid compromising information.

No, one could be guilty of grand theft, while the other is guilty of petty theft. They aren't guilty of the same crime, legally. But the point he was trying to make was that extent doesn't matter, which is, of course, completely contrary to our legal system.
