Not sure what to make out of this one. Got hot early and then decided to cruise for most of the second half. We just aren't talented enough to take time off in competitive games. To me the main difference was State's shooting. They were bad when they missed and pretty good when they hit their shots. Didn't have a team who could close it out. It would be nice to see this team play for a whole 40 minutes. But a win is a win. And we are about where we should be in the W-L column.
Other than with 20+ seconds on the shot clock, I have no idea what CC is doing 20+ feet from the basket?

Outscored 9-1 at the end and still won. A suspensful ending in that neither team scored in the final 1:29 and we didn't score in the final 2:24. Hell, we only scored 1 point in the final 4:01. Really wish we would have won that A&M game. We'd be on a nice 5 game win streak. 4-1 is still respectable but these next handful of games will be very tough. Need to take care of USC first.

I think his ego is , if he is open, he has the green light, but the there are better outside shooters on our team, same goes for jones. Jones should only shoot threes if we are out of time and the ball is in his hands. No other times. Between these two in the second half, they almost gave the game away.
On a positive note only 8 turnovers and 16 assists. Lofton and Jones combined for 11 per the stats. Free throw shooting is a different story, 5-10.. Of course most of that was one guy 2-6.
It shows how much Bonham has fallen, not being in the game when we needed an extra ball handler and foul shooter. Reeves really scares me to handle the ball in the backcourt. I would much rather have Kugel, who has a much better basketball IQ
