Is he gonna be another guy who visits a ton but doesn’t commit? Seems like he’s been favoring for awhile, any idea if a commitment is imminent?
bro idk but he is starting to give me that vibe. If he doesn’t pull the trigger next weekend, i’m not entertaining a thing he says going forward. I’m soooo tired of UF being everyone’s “dream school” but hardly ever will those kids jump on board.
He has specifically said he won't commit now, wants to experience the process. That said, imo he's a gator regardless of when he pulls the trigger. Maybe next week, maybe 8 months, but it's UF
So true. In fact, I now completely ignore any quotes like "dream school", "enjoyed my visit", "feels like family", "got something special going on here", "I could see myself here", or anything along those lines. I'll even go a step further and say commitments are meaningless, signings are always releasable, and even enrollments are transferrable. We are almost in a one-and-done environment now with NIL and the portal... maybe even less than one and done with players now leaving in the middle of the season and skipping out on their teammates in bowl games without the slightest bit of guilt. We are truly at a point now where if you look beyond the current roster, you are probably being optimistic. Sorry, but, that's where we are, and all the people that argued for NIL helped get us here. Rant over.
I hope so, he seems to be a legit prospect with real interest in UF. We'll eventually find out if this is another slow roll ride to another disappointment, ala CM, JR and Walker, etc., or a prudent, level-headed kid who just wants to get it right, like Mizell and Collins. I guess I'm prepared to be patient because I don't really have a choice.
Welcome to the age of chaos and nihilism. Nothing else matters when blatant self-aggrandizement is rapidly becoming the universally accepted goal. CFB is now a grotesque caricature of itself. The concepts of "team" and "commitment" are now passe' at best and nearing extinction at the worst.
St. Ignatious… Wow! Legendary high school. Watched my daughter play VB there. Great to see UF recruiting the Chicago area again.
Any scoop on this guy? Good looking TE prospect. Has some interest in UF. Walter Matthews, Hiram, Tight End
I understand the sentiment but if anyone of us got attend team meetings, voluntary workouts, or eavesdrop on a pregame locker room speech, we’d feel a lot different.
