Did you choose the terms "outrage" and "assume" based upon some specific content, or did you engage in hyperbole to suit your bias?

Has the state promised to provide any details beyond this flat rejection?

Sorry buddy but American History isn't White American History, we are all Americans.

Damn I wish they had a course in West Virginia Hillbilly History so I could learn about how my ancestors slaved away in the coal mines.

Because it violates the State's ban on "critical race theory."

This is interesting. Ole Ronnie and his cronies might just have stepped in it.

Seems like it is an AP elective, in that you don’t have to take that particular course. Seems to me students should be allowed to choose such courses.

About 45 years ago in junior high I took an Ecology course as my biology requirement. I chose it. I recall one of the questions for discussion was “do you think cars should be banned?” It was a practically ridiculous question, and as an 8th grader I was able to easily discern that even though I obviously had some interest in the subject of ecology given I chose it.

Crazy talk. So what if it's an elective? It's too dangerous to let teenagers make the choice to take this course. They might come to conclusions after taking the course that our Governor and Legislature don't like. The Thought Police are here to prevent that catastrophe from happening.

You should either pay the $1.99 for the rights to use that photo or chose one without watermarks telling us it’s for sale.

I have some very close friends down there I respect who love this crap Desantis does. They are very bright but can’t intellectually defend any of it. They just like feeling that their success was just as hard as anyone else’s and anything suggesting there are marginalized people in wonderful America is BS.

So you are presuming the premise of this course is easily disputable?

And yet we will still get the monthly post questioning why black and brown Americans don’t vote for the GOP..

While this stuff might get his name out to your everyday simpleton, does Ron think this stuff is going to help him out on a national level?

The fact that so many find the mere possibility of systemic racism in our society unfathomable is perhaps the best argument for the course, not simply as a fringe theory that should not be suppressed, but as a core exposition

Who post that? Are you trying to claim that no black or brown people vote for the GOP? Who are you calling brown people
