But surely he was aware of Rashada’s initial NIL offer. It is pretty concerning to me that he'd be okay with that kind of ludicrous offer. It is a set up for disaster and represents bad judgement on the part of many people, IMO.
If the number being floated around is accurate. I still think the number is BS. No way (in my mind) we offered that kid that kind of money.
Man, I thought the same thing initially. But at this point that number is being reported by legit outlets. 13.85MM, to be specific. I think its true.
Definitely agree, him & Saban have not been friends to the sport of CFB imho. Sadly he just went B2B and gets to coast until the SECCG while us & the rest of the East shoot ourselves in the foot. That would be even worse, imo. Why not move on sooner if that's true? Whether or not the number reported is accurate, it's clear NIL was an important factor for the Rashadas. Our coaching staff didn't pick up on that? Don't tell me we're not chasing gold diggers. We very obviously just did. Hopefully, that isn't true going forward.
