I would to love hear what Mullen has to say about this? Gross negligence of the recruiting aspect of the job. The guy shoukd not get another college job ever as a HC.

 

Sheds so much light on why our program tanked so badly in recruiting.

 

When the track coach knows the football coach is not recruiting, you have a systemic problem.

The comments there from former staff and high school coaches are appalling. No wonder Georgia is snagging all the top Florida kids; Mullen pissed off the Florida high school coaches.

And his staff--Knox- almost botched the recruitment of Etienne by not communicating. Unthinkable.

It was all due to pure laziness and disorganization.

 

Boy is that the article to read! We knew Mullen & staff were bad when it came to recruiting, but that article sheds SO MUCH light into how bad they actually were. Explains why BN had so much trash to process out from the team. I'll post the link for that article below. I can't state how much of a "MUST READ" that article is.

Mullen should be the one paying UF and not the other way around.

 

It’s a miracle we finished in the top 10 in ‘19 and ‘20. My grandpa used to tell me, “you should accept the fact that most people aren’t good at their jobs.”
It’s not like it’s the State Department or the military where every crisis has thousands of variables such language, weather, religion, logistics, culture and geopolitical forces. Recruiting is a revolving cycle with the same hit times every year.

 

We better have an extremely high hit rate on this class being it is very small and ranked only 15 or so without Rashada. I think Napier worked really hard but we are obviously hamstrung somewhere.

 

All I’m gonna say is YIKES

Napier has a complete rebuilding job. Physical and personnel infrastructure, organization, culture, relationships, etc. Gonna take a little while. But he needs to start winning.
