I foretold what would happen when/if college kids start getting paid to play... NIL is now legalized pay for play.

And where there is money there are lawyers... the parasites of humanity.

I know he's a gator but what's his day to day affiliation with the program?

I mean, he's an attorney representing the best interests of the players, as I understand it. So, like a sports agent, he's both a friend AND a foe. Such is life as an attorney in America.

If he gave even an ounce of advice to a collective, he shouldn't be advising players, e.g. if he knew where one school was playing it safe on gray areas in NIL law in a state and advised a player about that, that is exposing confidential information or representing adverse to the legal interests of a former client. That's very bad stuff for a lawyer.

Seems like a good DB. The D rhymes with push. The B word rhymes with the stuff we used when dropping cash to à recruit.

He advised to the collective? We know that for sure? Asking genuinely here...Don't know his involvement.

In general I would agree regarding conflict. In this case I don't.

He could very well advise the (or any) collective on the interpretation of the law (a brand new law), and guide them on how to stay compliant and not have it seem like it's pay for play (that was the initial goal, which of course has not occurred), while also guiding an athlete on the going-rate for their NIL deals across the country.

I don't know his involvement and would like to know. It would be highly unlikely an attorney would only advise on what the law is and not how it is implemented with that organization. The implementation is where the conflict is with his representing a player in how to negotiate with that organization.

He’s no friend to UF. He’s got too many ties to Miami to think what’s in the best interest for UF.

He personally advised the set up of The Collective. He has also done deals this past year with a few of our players. Along with this, he has access. Access to information and inter workings. More importantly numbers.
Comes as no surprise that a few of the players we were going after opted for Miami. Guess who they were rep by? None other than himself. He also stated he had nothing to do with Rashaad's deal making. BS. Guess who is on the payroll of that agency? None other than gold chain avatar himself.

I for one never believe that there was a 13M offer on the table. This was leaked by his reps. For as disorganized as UF was during the whole freshman year of the Collective, no one is that stupid. No one. my theory is that after UF shit the bed the last few games and then got blown out in bowl game, Rashaad's reps believe they had UF over the barrel and wanted more. A number was already agreed upon and signed. Hence, UF announced his enrollment. That said they knew that UF could not outright publicly say anything as that is against NCAA laws.
