the sheer volume that was missing from DT prompted an extensive search due to the highly classified information that was in them. AN di f you recall, the CIA issued an unprecedented systemwide alert about loss of agents, suggesting a major espionage infiltration, and a review of security procedures. We still ahve no understanding of the classification levels of the Biden papers. A few papers marked confidential missing would not set off alarm bells like the voluminous tranche of top secret documents that DT took with him and then refused to turn over.

Why are right wingers not calling for an investigation? We keep hearing over and over about who was raided. Do you not care that both may have committed crimes? Do you usually look at how evidence was gathered more than the crime itself? Do you not think that Trump should be investigated? Investigate them both

People are weak-minded. Instead of facing up to a truth and accepting it, they create a whole new reality for themselves.

It’s actually funny how some are trying to blow this off, really quite pathetic that for years these documents have been all over the place under little or no security as Biden “didn’t know” he had them, which we all believe considering how addle minded he is.

I’m still curious were these document the VP should have had access to?

All depends on how secure the new documents are.

it wasn’t the whole crux of Trump’s argument that he had declassified them and as such didn’t need to turn them over?

Not saying he was correct in that assertion.
Just verifying the facts of the argument

Trump did try to argue he declassified the docs magically in his head, but his legal team has yet to make this argument. One, while the POTUS has the power to declassify anything, docs aren't officially declassified until they do through an official process and get marked properly. And two, declassifying the docs doesn't change ownership of the docs. They are still Presidential documents that belong to the National Archives.

As for Biden, no word on what kind of docs the 2nd and 3rd set were, but report was first set found in the office were daily briefings. The POTUS gets a daily brief, and other top officials including the VPOTUS receives a copy. This way, in a crisis, if the POTUS is incapacitated for any reason, the VPOTUS and key staff are already briefed on any possible crisis situation.

It's possible the Archives didn't know the Biden briefings were missing because they already had the Obama copies secure and filed away. Just speculation on my part. But if true, it would explain why it took 6 years to get these docs returned, because according to the Archives, nothing was missing, and therefore, no search initiated. In contrast, by March, 2021, the Archives had compiled a list of missing Trump docs, and that's when they started to try and retrieve them.

Ok, i just took your quick moment to consider it...and it caused me to laugh.

    Chinese gubmt= "the big guy."

    Lol! Good one. :p:D:p

Btw, it doesn't make sense contextually, secondly, there's a 1st hand witness who dispensed with any ambiguity about it.

....but hey, maybe a thorough investigstion into the Biden crime syndicate might just bear you out.

I’m sure you’re curious but context is a word with meaning. The Trump issue, as I’m sure has been explained painfully many times in this thread was in his refusal to return. No one would give a crap if Trump retuned some documents post transition but the moron tried to overthrow the government, took unprecedented documents with him, then shady avoided turning them over for months. They were retrieved. He hasn’t been charged with crimes.

Biden left office peacefully, we don’t know much about the documents but they were few comparatively, and he never refused to return and they were found himself (his lawyers).

He shouldn’t have had them. We probably need better controls for sure. However context is a word and has meaning.

Evidence. That's the nuancy thing you're missing. If Joe took the money personally from China, where is it. And how come the IRS found no evidence of said money, or evidence that the Biden's were living well above their means when the Biden's were audited?

Not surprised you don't understand or have evidence. You think 2000 Mules actually qualifies as such. LOL

So, you are sticking with, no way Joe took money from the Chinese because the IRS did an audit, or several, and didn't find where he didn't report the money he got from China?
Wow!! I thought 92 was being harsh with the snow globe comments but apparently not!!

Show me the money. Not just one "Big guy" comment and donations that there is no evidence any money was funneled directly to Joe Biden. Show me actual proof, and I'll look at it. But again, Joe Biden has released decades of his tax returns and has been audited by the IRS. If the Bidens had taken tens of millions from the Chinese, hard to believe there would be zero evidence of this anywhere.

So, career criminals, not saying Joe, but career criminals that obtain a lot of wealth through criminal activities that have been audited, obviously have not garnered any wealth from criminal activity because they didn't report it and the IRS hasn't found it???
You obviously have never owned a business that can take in cash.

Thousands of dollars? Sure. But laundering tens of millions without leaving a trail? That's master criminal stuff. And if Joe were a master criminal, really think he would leave the evidence lying around in his office and garage?

I guess it's possible, but money leaves a trail. And if anyone is receiving tens of millions in illegal, unreported monies, that money has to be somewhere.
