Are you talking about the guy with the pony tale and tats, fell down mugging another Gator and Will Richard snag a rebound and came down on his foot as that guy fell down from a mugging? That guard stayed in the rest of the game. Of course he begged for a foul on Will.

 

The refs saw his first flop when they went to the monitor to see if it was a flagrant. Then they fell for the same flop again despite seeing the first one on tape. I don’t think it’s a rule, but it would be nice if the refs had the right to assess a technical if the review shows an obvious flop as they are trying to determine if there was flagrant contact on the defender. Soccer is almost unwatchable at times with the constant flopping. I don’t want to see hoops go in that direction.

 

Do any of you who go to games in person more often than I do know who she is? Or what area of the ODome she sits in? Is it a student trying to get attention or a non-student? It’s truly awful on TV. My wife made me turn down the volume.

Huge props for Golden and staff for turning around the season. Love his fire as well. At A&M is a chance for a Quad 1 win and revenge. Now with Florida's Net Ranking up to 48, they're now back on the bubble after looking completely dead after the A&M loss. Actually, each of the next 2 games are Quad 1 opportunities. I'm thinking the Gators need to win 1 of the next 2 and then of course beat SC at home. That would put them at 12-8 and 5-3 in SEC. They'll need that buffer going into a brutal 4 game stretch (at #11 KSU, vs #5 Tenn, at UK, at #4 Bama). Let's say they pull an upset at home as their only win. That puts them at 13-11 and 6-5 in the SEC, with 4 winnable games at home, they'll have a good shot at 10 SEC wins. If win either of the road games at UGA or Vandy and get to 11 SEC wins.

 

I saw that and don’t understand it. Top 20 team you’d think would be Q-1.

 

I remember reading some years back at selection time, someone saying you really need to be in the top 48 if you want to get an at-large bid. Not a law, just a rule of thumb. So we're the very definition of "bubble team." I think that was before the field expanded to 68, so there might be some slight extra wiggle room, maybe up to the top 52. But the NCAA says repeatedly that the NET rating is not the final say, just one tool they use. Another one is rattling some chicken bones over a fire.

 

My Mizzou friends were giving a lot of trash talk before the game. I haven't heard anything after the game. thanks gators!

 

Hard to believe Mizzou fans would be doing much trash talking given that they are mediocre to bad in all the major sports .
