Rashada, 1/11/23 UPDATENOW being Denied

The original deal was for 1 mill. Rashada’s camp reneged and wanted 3.5 mill.

So nobody knows.

 

Title change, hacks quoting hacks.

This is still all the same unsubstantiated info that they originally reported on.
I just have no idea what to believe right now. However, it is certainly a PR mess.
The most compelling evidence that indicates it may NOT be exactly what Bianchi & Thompson are reporting, is listening to the O. Sentinel podcast (Bianchi/Thompson) on Wednesday, and comparing that to the Swamp Things podcast (Mark Long/Thompson) on Friday. Edgar Thompson was so definitive about what he knew on the pod with Biatchi on wed. Yet, on the fri pod with Dong, Thompson is subtly walking-back his comments. Then tells Dong “I’m not going to open” himself, or anyone else, “up to litigation” over this. Why walk it back if you’re source is so solid? Early in the week he tells Biatchi that “he knows for a fact” the $13 million deal is legit. At the end of the week, Thompson doesn’t seem quite so sure.

 

Another interesting take. His explanation is that some outside entity got this amount to an unacceptable level and it was rejected. He says the problem was ONLY made by the outside entity. Therefore, we probably will NEVER KNOW who to blame. No doubt this was a bad GERD moment for NIL and not just a hiccup.

 

So Edgar is at the center of more botched information? I’m absolutely shocked

 

He’ll still get the first question at every presser though..

 

Both those pods I referenced are total UF/Napier bashfests. All three of those “journalists” should be sanctioned by UF, at the very least. But, of all of them I have read, or listened to, I can only recall Edgar Thompson and Josh Pate indicating that THEY PERSONALLY HAVE DEFINITIVE KNOWLEDGE of what occurred and who is to blame. I think most of the anti-UF spin is piggybacking off of those claims.

 

How ever this ends I dont think this is a good look for UF and Napier even though they may have ha ZERO to do with this

 

To paraphrase
Somebody might be greedy
Somebody might have fire trucked
Somebody might be cluelessly pontificating
NIL definitely is a train wreck

 

So……crickets on the definitive, verifiable source that spawned your earlier anti-UF post?

 

Why don’t you try to tell us something that hasn’t already been said dozens of times? What’s your motive for incessantly fanning anti-UF flames?

 

If it’s obvious then all you’re doing is yapping something we already know. Over and over. You’re contributing nothing so just stop
