14 turnovers, more than all of last game. Solve that and we win.

 

I'll take that tie fellas. I thought we were about to get run.

 

Had a chance for a two for one, but Kugel with the loose handles, again. I like where we are at and really like our chances in the second half.

 

New game in 2nd half. Man, if we could start and not go down by 10+ again. Here’s to a fast show me do points second half!

 

Gotta be the most reaches on defense I’ve ever seen. I can see why Missouri has such bad defensive numbers. Against good ball handling teams they must get burned by all the reaching and getting out of position. Florida just isn’t a great ball handling team to take advantage of it.

 

Anybody know why no Jitoboh ?

 

Arky about to go down vs. Vandy. #15 team but now 1-4 in the conference.

Not only that, but Vandy will finish with 95+.

 

No Reeves in the second half of the first half. He's having one of his out of control days. I bet he has a short leash in the second half.

 

I think he is just not a good fit for this game. Too slow.

 

For a guard oriented team, Mizzou not good at 3 pt line that half. 1-9. Gators actually winning rebounding battle for a change also, 18-16.

 

Lofton is killing us by being so careless with the ball. He’s a disaster as the passer trying to put the ball in play.

 

I guess he doesn’t turn the ball over with enough regularity.

 

Missouri's aggressiveness gets them so lopsided on the floor and we can't make them pay with a drive. I get that they recover fast (and grab a lot). But maybe instead of jacking up a 3, pump fake and go to the hoop.

 

Actually Kugel and CC both have 4 turnovers. Surprised Reeves only has 2, looked out of control, tho gotta love his hustle.

 

I think he sat a lot.

 

Yes, the team in general is not handling the ball well against Mizzou’s aggressiveness. But I would expect the point guard not to make careless inbound passes. Lofton has made several of them. He also has given us little to nothing on the offensive end.

 

I prefer to look at it like this: If our kids played that bad a half overall (TOs, passing errors, etc) and we're still tied, just play average and Florida should pull ahead . . . assuming the fouls start getting called better in the second half.

 

It's a tough conference. Can't take any games for granted.

 

This is one of those games that if the refs were calling all the reaches and grabs it would be completely different. Style of Reffing really can make such a difference.
