So when will the gazpacho police knock down your door and confiscate your gas stove? (ummmm never).

Ironically, gas is more likely to be used for cooking in the "blue" states than in the "red" states where electric stoves are more popular.

Doubtful. After Obama’s brown shirts, death panels, Jade Helm, multiple UN takeovers of the US, war on Christmas … they’ve got a pretty thick skin.

What's ironic is that the intended audience of the Fox News/Right-wing media is much more likely to rely electric rather gas stoves and that the false narrative wouldn't affect them anyway. People who rely on gas for cooking probably do not view or listen to the right-wing media infotainment stars pushing the narrative.

Didn't AOC start this whole thing with the gas stoves?

She may very well have. That being said even if she was she was against the use of the natural gas I don't think she ever promoted actually confiscating gas appliances.

Don’t think so. From what I’ve read, it started with someone from the public safety commission saying it’s possible to ban the stoves over safety issues. AOC’s first comment was in reaction to the GOP meltdown

There has been a solid link found between gas stoves and respiratory illness, especially in children, and cancer in adults. This has been known for a decade, at least. Gas doesn’t burn as clean as they said it does.

The nation needs a discussion on if the product can be made safe, and if not, should it be banned….

Wait a damn minute. You’re suggesting rational discussion rather than frantic hysteria?

In an act of stunning forward vision, the kind of thing that may restore America's faith in Congress's ability to get things done, House Repubs have come up with a bill to stop the Biden admin from banning indoor gas stoves...........even though it had no intention of doing so.
