Great post Lizard! We’re good man. You got me my 2 years so we have seen a lot . College football to me is dead . Hate the fact in our last chapter we will be getting our ass handed to us by more progressive rivals . seems like it’s been a chit show for a long time and I just don’t see things getting better .

“Student athlete” was a term the NCAA (and its member institutions) created to game the system in the schools’ favor. That’s what you’re seeing slowly erode away with these lawsuits.

Thank you 62 .. well on to the off season . Funny that Miami and UF fought to get Rashada and McClain and neither school got either one .

Yeah, it's a little bleak at the moment, there's no arguing with that. These are strange days.

It’s been eroding for a while . It’s almost non existent and laughable when I we hear it mentioned.

Well, to hear people blame the NCAA for the state of affairs, you’d think it was their doing instead of their undoing.

Student athlete is no longer a legal term the NCAA can hide behind.

    from the Article:
Words used- agree to terms, signing contract, termination of contract.
So IF this contract exists and the Rashada's have a verifiable copy, somebody is screwed.

Yeah, this fiasco has pretty much reached the end of the line in my personal estimation. I don't even care much at this point whether it works out or not, I just want the drama to end ASAP. If that means permanently rescinding the scholarship offer and/or publicly cutting ties with some third-party entity(s), then so be it. The damage to our image has already been done (thanks in part to the despicable and irresponsible conduct of certain media outlets) and regardless of who did what, the waters have been so thoroughly poisoned at this point that the situation is basically irrevocable. Enough already - time to move on. JMHO.

Call me crazy, but how can anyone say or prove these actions by the third party were not deliberate?

How do we know they have UF’s best interests in mind?

They say they do, but with money involved that is never the case. How do we know this guy wasn’t bought off by John Ruiz or some other rich dude with an axe to grind working in the shadows?

Easy to promise $13 million thinking Hathcock will cover it when there is no structure or regulation whatsoever.

If we are gonna be made an example of, I sure hope this fiasco leads to permanent rules, regulations, structure, and oversight. Otherwise college football is dead.
